How long has bedstarbeen trading
The website bedstardirect.co.uk was established in 2004. The website was set up as a direct result of a large demand for competitively priced branded goods for beds and matresses. It was seen as an opportunity for the North Yorkshire based business, established in 1963, to evolve and supply goods nationally.
Is there a showroom
YES- the showroom is located within Woodwards, Chapel showrooms, 98 High Street, Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. Please be aware not all products on the website will be displayed on the showroom floor and it would be advised to contact us first to find out what products are currently on display.
How do I place an order
There are two simple ways for you to place an order. You can either do this online, using the secure shopping cart system, or you can call our designated sales team on 0844 880 1570. Please see the "How To Order "section of the website for further details.
Are the prices quoted inclusive of VAT
All our prices are inclusive of VAT.
Do you give bulk/ trade discounts
Our prices are very competitive. However, if you are buying in bulk, please contact our designated sales team on 0844 880 1570 to discuss your requirements. Please note that we do not provide trade discounts or any other discounts other than those given on our website.
What methods of payment do you accept
We accept all major credit and debit cards.
Who delivers the products
We have contracted with Hiway Express, the UK's number 1 white glove delivery service to make the majority of our deliveries. However, for local deliveries within a 40 mile radius of Leeds, West Yorkshire, we will use our own delivery team.
Do prices include delivery charges? If no, how much does delivery cost
Delivery charges vary depending upon the purchase order. We offer free delivery on orders over £150.00, orders under this value will carry a £15 surcharge. Please either consult "Deliveries" on the website or contact a member of our sales team on 0844 880 1570 for delivery charges.
Do you deliver outside of the UK
We do not deliver outside of the UK.
How long will delivery take
We will aim to deliver the products to you as quickly as possible and following an order we will provide you with an estimated delivery time given by the manufacturer. We are unable to guarantee delivery times as these are only estimates from the manufacturers. Once you have placed an order with bedstar we will send you by e-mail an order confirmation within 2 working days.
Is it possible to track my order
For local deliveries, (within a 40 mile radius of Leeds, West Yorkshire), our sales team will contact you to organise a suitable delivery date. For all other good deliveries, please contact our delivery department on email@example.com if you wish to track your order.
How do you achieve price savings on your product range
We have a dedicated buying team securing savings from suppliers. We are able to provide top quality brands at extremely competitive prices. We aim to pass on our savings to the consumer.
What do I do if the good(s) I have purchased is/are damaged

What is the returns policy
Once you have received your Product(s) from Bedstar you have 7 days to decide if you wish to return them.
If you decide you do not want the good(s) delivered for what ever reason you may return them back to our warehouse. providing you have not used the goods and returned them back in the original packaging and free of defects then we will happily refund your money minus any shipping costs back to our warehouse. You may deliver the goods back to our warehouse for a full refund or if you would like us to arrange a collection a minimum collection charge of £50 Will be deducted from your credit card refund.
For hygene reasons mattresses that have been slept on will not be accepted back unless faulty.
Please note this does not apply to items that have been specifically tailored to a customers requirements

All our products carry the manufacturers guartantees and warranties. Depending upon the product, these will vary depending upon the manufacturer and/or type of product being purchased.
