Delivery Procedures


Zone 1
Zone 1 covers most of mainland UK and delivery is free on orders over 299. Orders under 299 carry a 15 surcharge.

Saturday Deliveries carry a surcharge of 30

Zone 2

Zone 2 - Bedstar can deliver to all areas in this zone. Please note however there will be an additional delivery surcharge of £30 on standard delivery charges for the following post code areas.

DD1– DD60
AB1– AB60

Please Note: Next day delivery cannot be guaranteed to these post codes.

Zone 3
Bedstar cannot deliver to any area in this zone.

Zone 4
Bedstar cannot deliver to any area in this zone.


Stock items are available for express delivery, many items can even be delivered on a next day basis (Please see section below) For heavier items we use a two man delivery service.

If you have chosen a stock item that needs to be delivered by our two man service, a member of the bedstar logistics team will contact you within 2 working days* from date of order to book in a convenient delivery date and also advise on time frames on when the delivery will take place. We currently deliver to most areas in the UK 2 - 3 times a week. Please be aware deliveries to remote areas may take slightly longer.


Bedstar have a large range of stock items that are available for next day delivery or you can choose a delivery date at checkout. These products will be delivered by a one man delivery company. This means the courier can only deliver the ordered items to the front door of the designated delivery address, if you reside in an apartment or a block of flats, the delivery driver will deliver to the lobby of the building only.

Please understand that the delivery company that offer a 'next day' service are not insured to enter a private premises. Please be aware that if you purchase a product on a 'next day' delivery and require assistance with the positioning of the product, you must arrange the assistance yourself.


If your item is not in stock and needs ordering from one of our suppliers please check the supplier lead time on the chart below.

These are estimated delivery lead times given to us by our suppliers. Please allow upto 3 - 5 working days* for delivery from our warehouse to the customer. Also note these times are only a guide and may vary slightly depending on the time of the year.

Customers should assume that the delivery vehicle will be a long, heavy goods vehicle, weighing approximately 16.5 tones with a height of 14' 3". Therefore it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that such a vehicle has legal access to their property and inform us about any weight, height and parking restrictions, as well as any difficult access points and unadopted roads/ paths in order to help us deliver your order and ensure that we have made arrangements for the appropriate size of delivery vehicle to be used. Failure to disclose this information may result in an aborted delivery and a delivery charge being levied. In order to prevent damage to our/ contracted vehicles, unadopted roads, paths and tracks will not be taken by delivery vehicles. Alternative routes must be provided by the customer.

Available days for delivery are Monday - Friday, between the hours of 7.00am - 7.00pm. Some items may be available for a Saturday delivery at an extra surcharge. Please email deliveries@bedstar.co.uk with details of your selected item(s) and a representative of bedstar will be able to inform you whether your item(s) can be dispatched for a Saturday delivery.


We will never arrange a delivery date without contacting and confirming the date with you first. Once your item(s) is ready for dispatch either we will contact you or our contracted delivery service will contact you in order to arrange a mutually suitable delivery date.


Bedstar/ contracted deliverers will not remove existing pieces of furniture to help make room for newly delivered products. Likewise, old pieces of furniture will not be taken away. The customer must take the responsibility to organize the removal and disposal of unwanted furniture.

Bedstar and our contracted deliverers if requested by the customer will assist the customer in taking the order into the premises, to the appropriate room. However, prior to delivery permission must be sought by Bedstar and if agreed, both Bedstar/ the contractor and the personnel of Bedstar/ the contractor will not accept liability for any damage both to the delivered product and to the customers property, (including all types of fixtures, fittings and building structure), whilst assisting the customer with such a request. The customer must solely take responsibility for this action. Any consequent damage should fall under the customer's household insurance.

It will be expected that the passageway and the necessary room(s) will have been cleared in order to make way for the order.

Bedstar/ third party contractors will not assemble any orders even if requested to do so. The assembly of orders is the responsibility of the customer. Preparation for delivery: Customers are advised when accepting goods to have protective sheets available as the goods been delivered may have transferred through a number of warehouses and delivery vehicles. Bedstar will not accept any liability for any damaged caused.
